Attention is one of the most valuable skills. Just like reading and writing, it’s essential for building strong relationships, engaging in the classroom and getting the most out of life. Thanks to Australian researchers, we now have a fun and clinically proven way to measure and train attention.
Why is attention important?
By the age of 4, up to 40% of children have attention issues with many never receiving early intervention [1]. These issues can impact a child’s ability to learn, play and socialise.
Attention skills are critical in determining learning capacity and mental wellbeing. Children with attention problems struggle to:
- focus their mind on a task
- listen, to absorb information or
- control impulsive behaviours and emotional outbursts
This can impact other aspects of their lives – at school, home, in social situations and, eventually, their academic achievement and employment opportunities.

TALi attention training program
TALi ReadyAttentionGo is a tablet based attention training program that consists of 25 x 20-minute sessions, conducted over a five-week period.
The tasks adapt and become more difficult to challenge and improve attention skills. Real-time data is recorded and sent back to your Sonic Learning coach.

How does TALi work?

Who can use TALi?
TALi is designed for children 3 – 10, although older children may participate if the program is appropriate for their needs.
What technology do I need?
TALi requires a strong Wifi connection, and the ReadyAttentionGo! app downloaded on an iPad or Android tablet. iPads need to be running iOS 15.2 or higher, with 1.2 GB of storage free and at least 32GB of memory. Android tablets need to be running Android 8.0 or above with at least 500MB of free drive space and at least 2GB of RAM. Search “ReadyAttentionGo!” in your device’s app store to check compatibility with your device.

What’s included in my TALi subscription?
- TALi ReadyAttentionGo. 5 week attention training program (20 mins/day, 5 days/week)
- Professional support. You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll have your own professional coach to guide you through the program with 3 coaching support calls.
- Printables. Resources to help you plan the training and motivate your child.
- Pre and post-training assessment. At the end of training you’ll receive a results report to track your child’s progress.
