Curriculum alignment guide
See how these online maths games align with Australian Curriculum standards.
In an independent study, after 3 weeks on this program kids showed growth equivalent to about a 6 month gain (73% improvement) and after 8 weeks, growth equivalent to one year of natural development.
This doesn’t mean that kids will cover 1 year of maths content in 8 weeks (that’s impossible!) but rather that these games can unlock the foundations and confidence needed to succeed with maths tasks.
Do you have a question? Chances are someone has asked it before!
What age are the online maths games for?
Zorbit’s Maths Adventure covers Foundation (Prep/Pre-Primary) to year 3 content. It’s suitable for anybody who would like to build their foundational maths skills, including skills like mental maths (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), time and date concepts, 2d spatial sense and measurement skills (e.g. area, perimeter, volume). The content will adjust to you as you play.
Mathstoria covers year 4 – 6 content. It currently contains a full set of content covering number sense and operations (including decimals, fractions, rounding, integers, multiplication, division). More content will be released over 2023-2024.
If you’re unsure about your child’s suitability for the program please book a free professional consult.

Are these online maths games backed by research?
You’ve asked the right question! Yes. Initial trials showed that preschool children showed a 73% improvement in maths skills in just 3 weeks.
Is there a guarantee?
As health and education professionals, we adhere by relevant advertising standards which state we can’t guarantee a certain result (every brain is different!) What we do guarantee is to provide you with awesome, research-backed exercises and professional support to help you progress through the programs. We’re committed to helping you improve your skills and are always here to help throughout your program.
Can I use my NDIS funding?
We can provide NDIS-friendly billing for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. As NDIS don’t pay upfront for services, we can only bill one month at a time so you will need to enrol month-by-month at $90 per month. Book a free professional consult to set this up. You can either enrol in the maths program by itself, or add it onto our NDIS course.
When does the course begin and end?
Your course will begin on the day that you choose on your enrolment form and end 1, 3, 6 or 12 months later (depending on your purchased subscription). Your Sonic Learning maths coach will monitor and adjust your program as needed. You will have unlimited access.
Can I pause my subscription?
Your subscription will begin on the day that you choose on your enrolment form and cannot be paused. If you miss a day don’t worry, you can make it up later on during your subscription. We recommend at least 30 minutes of training, 2 days per week or 20 minutes of training, 3 days per week – but you can do as much as you like.
How long will I need to complete the program?
Every individual is different, so the time spent mastering each skill will
also vary. There is LOTS of content and we encourage you to continue playing each exercise, on each planet in your galaxy until you achieve 3 stars (more than 90% accuracy). We’ll open up new galaxies when you need them too. You can also extend your subscription if you want more time.
What technology do I need?
Zorbit’s (F to 3) and Mathstoria (4 to 6) can be played on a computer with Windows 10 or higher or Mac OS High Sierra and above.
Zorbit’s can be played on iPad running iOS 12.0 and above via the Zorbit’s Math app.
Mathstoria is not compatible with iPad.
