Online receptive language skills program
Do you or your child have trouble remembering and following instructions, or understanding what others say?
Through exercises carefully designed by learning experts, the Fast ForWord programs improve important language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, oral expression and the ability to follow instructions.

Language is an important foundational skill

Is Fast ForWord a replacement for speech pathology?
Fast ForWord training does not replace one-on-one intervention with a Speech Pathologist, but it can be a great addition to therapy.
It’s intensive (30 minutes per day, 5 days per week) so you’ll get lots of practice in, which is hard to do with traditional therapy.
It’s fun (you’ll use your computer or iPad), and adaptive to give you a just-right level of challenge.
“Fast ForWord is like getting a booster shot,” says Dr Martha Burns (Speech Pathologist and Neuroscientist).
Backed by research
In this study, 21 primary school students with language learning impairment (LLI) used Fast ForWord programs and were compared with a control group who didn’t receive any intervention. These students showed improvements in a measure of brain wave efficiency, rapid auditory processing accuracy and language skills. See research paper
