Auditory processing, reading and memory programs for adults
Our memory programs for adults prove it’s never too late to change your brain.
The most amazing and inspiring discovery by neuroscientists in the last three decades is that it’s never too late to change your brain.
Adults can benefit from auditory processing, reading and memory programs just as much as children – as long as the programs are well designed and administered in the right way.
Learning difficulties don’t have to be life-long

Have you always had trouble listening, paying attention or remembering information? Perhaps you have trouble communicating your thoughts verbally or in writing, or keeping up with conversations?
Many of the adults who get in touch with us have either experienced some sort of learning block all their lives, suffered a brain injury which has impacted on their cognitive functioning or are just noticing that they’re having trouble remembering things or finding their words when communicating.
“Doing this program has given me enough space to become aware of those anxious feelings connected with making mistakes and how important it is for me to encourage and believe in myself.”

Our Managing Director Claire was one of those adults
Claire grew up with an Auditory Processing Disorder that was only diagnosed in early adulthood. It made it difficult for her to process information quickly and to keep up in the classroom.
She had to tape record her classroom lessons (yes, back in the days of the tape recorder) and relisten to them at night, pausing at regular intervals to allow her time to absorb the content.

Many adults believe their learning difficulties are permanent
But unless there is some sort of degenerative condition at play, nothing could be further than the truth!
Virtually everyone can change their brain throughout their lifespan so long as the stimulus is engaging, targeted and adaptive to their specific needs.
Did you know adult learners have an edge?
You might be surprised to learn that adult learners often possess an edge on younger learners when it comes to brain training. They often possess a higher level of intrinsic motivation to improve their performance. Nothing like a lifetime of learning struggles to motivate you to do something about it!
So what are you waiting for?
Sonic Learning’s online auditory processing, reading and memory programs for adults
Effective cognitive training programs actively train the ability to process information more quickly and accurately, to remember more and to be better at comprehending what you read.

Changing the brain isn’t possible overnight but it is absolutely possible. Improving processing, memory and attention takes daily practice (around 30 minutes, 5 days per week), individualised instruction and engaging exercises to create significant and lasting improvements.

Fortunately, there are online programs that can help you improve these important life skills in an easy and fun way. Sonic Learning’s team of health and education professionals has been successfully using proven neuroscience programs (Fast ForWord, Cogmed and Reading Assistant) since 2004 to improve processing, memory and attention.
